I finally got around to posting pics! But they are in a new thread- Ducks are so confusing. I lost two of my little ducklings and gained two more that were the same breed as the one I had left. Still struggling with how to keep them safe at night!

My ducks always had access to a coop but always slept outside even in subzero snowblowing winter. We had my inlaws free ranging beagle keeping them safe apparently because when we moved, no beagle, ducks started disappearing to predators so I got rid of them all and just have chickens now, and no free ranging.

Lol I had to read this a few times, all I kept seeing was you had your inlaws free ranging lol
