I'd watch how he is doing today and make that decision in the morning. It sure does sound promising though. Just keep on with what your doing. Do you have any poultry vitamins? I'd be putting some in his water especially if he is drinking good.
 
A good idea. That way if he needs an antibiotic you'll be able to get one, also they should have anything you need for tube feeding it's something we should all have on hand for emergencies. Many vets will even teach you how. Thankful for @casportpony who made a great article about it. If you need it let me know.
 
ahhh I'm so annoyed, yesterday online I booked a consultation at my local vet and I get there and they are closed. I rang them and they said that they are closed as today is a bank holiday in England even though I booked it online! Anyway we are now booked in for tomorrow : (
and he is still eating the soup and even nibbling at the grass but I am still so worried. I wish they would have had a look at him today.

should I buy next-day delivery on an amazon feeding tube for the morning or just wait for the vet tomorrow?
 
I'm sorry your having to wait to see the vet. As for the feeding tube I guess that would be up to you. If you think you can go ahead and start feeding him before he see the vet then that would be a good idea. If he is eating then you might wait as long as he is getting nourishment. I can't look up anything since my internet is so crummy have hardly been able to get on here. But today we're going to go check out another internet company that hopefully will be better than the one we have. So I couldn't bring up Amazon. :rolleyes:

I have been giving him this today in his water as you advised, and given him mealworms wich he ate about 5 (usually he would gobble up 100 of these things if he had a chance 😂). He is still eating the soup and pecking at the grass.
i may just wait for the vet before getting a feeding tube as he seems to still getting some food in him and is now pooping more normally then he was, I can’t wait to see the vet (it’s not an exotic or bird specific vet as there are none within an hour of me 😞, but I am sure they will still be good and better then nothing)

I'm surprised they're willing to see him, if they aren't an avian or exotics vet. But in that case, please be careful and take what they say with a large pinch of salt. They may misdiagnose. Let us know what they say

Will do, and I will keep that in mind. If they aren’t very helpful I will go to an exotic vet it’s just far away so will try this vet first! Thankyou for the help 👍🦆
