Duck pool

    New duck owner here . We just got her a pool and for the time being we have to wait a little while until we can dig Ian's place it in the ground . Is this okay for now ? We tried putting her in it but she flew out and ran away from us.

    Yes that's fine. You don't need to have an in-ground pool for them. We just put little steps on the side and the ducks did fine. Once they became full frown adults they didn't even use the steps anymore. She probably flew out because she was scared. I recommend putting treats in the water while holding her still so she gets used to the water. Then let her go and see what happens. She'll warm up to it eventually.
