I had a beautiful 12x12 duck run built last Fall (waited for 17 years to get one lol) attached to my beautiful new Reeds Ferry Shed coop.
When the builder was done I painted THREE layers of Ames Safe-T deck sealant on the plywood floors. I had read it would stand up to duck and chicken poop plus daily hose spray downs. Unfortunately it DIDN’T last two weeks and I went through a very frustrating winter (I live in MA). It’s about 90% peeled up and am back to bare plywood now.
I’ve blocked the animals out for about a month now and have fans blowing on the floors to really dry them out.
I’m looking for tried and true recommendations for a product that will seal the plywood and stand up to fowl poop and water sprays (plus dripping from their messy bathing & drinking habits
)
Please help!!
