The symptoms you are seeing fit with this. It's quite possible that she has a stuck soft-shelled egg that she's trying to pass. Laying softies is very hard on them. Can you go buy some human calcium citrate pills or liquid calcium gluconate for cattle? Either one would be fine. Let me know which one you get and I'll let you know how much to give, then fill your bath tub with about 6 inches of warm water and put her in it? If she has a stuck softie this will help her pass it.2. This duck is notorious for laying soft shelled eggs! Once and a while she'll lay normal eggs, but I've seen her lay those for sure.
Parasites can rob the bird from essential nutrients needed for egg laying, so I still think that de-worming her might be useful.She's a bit better today, but still pants in water and when I hold her. Again, waiting for my camera to charge!
