Duck Suddenly Panting and Whimpering

Pics
Hey, I have no idea if you guys unfollowed this topic after I said it was resolved, but I'm seeing the same symptoms again.
Same old panting while I'm holding her. The medication only worked for a week or two before starting again. Should I go back to duck dewormer, or try something different?

Is she only panting when you hold her?

It seems logical to me if your geographical area has been known to have problems with gapeworm, you would want to develop a regular schedule for deworming.:)

She pants when I hold her, though I haven't tried fully submerging her in the water and seeing if she pants when she swims.

Saw your other thread... to eliminate gapeworm in a session, the full amount of doses need to be given... and schedule needs to be set up to be done at least every 6 months, depending on weather, every 4 months... if you have had the rains and temps over there that we have had here lately, it is logical that overload has happened again... gapeworm is carried by earthworms, slugs and snails... mine were out chowing down worms all day, they'll need to be dosed again too...
