Duck swollen hard bottom

My female duck has a swollen bottom. It looks like she is waddling around with a full diaper. It feels like an egg might be stuck. She doesn't leave the coop. What should I do?

you can try bringing her in the house and putting her in a very warm sink of water, or the bathtub, just make sure the water isn't too deep. I usually lay a hand towel in the bottom so they have traction. She needs to be there for about 1 hour at least......the warm water helps stimulate the muscles and gets the egg moving. Also find some Kyjelly or veg. oil and squirt some in her vent to help lubricate the egg.........be careful, don't break the egg. Keep her in a warm environment until she passes the egg.
