What is angel wing?

He is a cayuga drake, And for his wing I need clearer picture but what from I can see it just looks like a few flight feathers out of place due to maybe trying to get out of something or trying to fly? It doesn't look broken and well for the whole Drakes getting along that's something you'll have to wait for. They may get along they may never. Your old drakes probably see him as a threat to their territory. I'd give them a little time first.

I don’t think he is able to fly. How do you tell if it’s broken or out of place? He also seems very nice. Where my babies are mean to him.

Here are some more pics but they’re not very good either. I’ll keep trying.

Is there a way to tell how old they are? I’ve been looking up angel wing on google and it says it could lead to an early death.
Is he okay to Be with my younger babies?

Calm down, he is fine... it looks like a mild case of angel wing that wasn't corrected when he was younger... it isn't broken, and no, it doesn't cause him pain... the feathers are just twisted so they stick out... severe cases will inhibit their ability to fly and can affect their waterproofing capability, but once adult it doesn't worsen, it just stays like that...

Have you had his stool checked for parasites? I kept our two newest girls quarantined for a bit, till they checked out negative for parasites.

No.. have only had him a couple nights. But that scares me because I don’t want my other ducks to get anything.
