No they are not, which is what I said at the beginning of the post. My point was that ducks that aren't free range can still forage.

Do you have a lot of dead spots that they have noddled to death or are they good about not destroying their area?

I do have some areas in the inner run that turned to mud since we had so much rain last winter. I've basically got 2 runs, an outer and inner. I blocked off most of the outer run late in the winter when the grass started to grow here. I wanted to give it a rest until the grass got going good. It worked great and it's thick with grass now. I'm starting to see grass/weeds growing in the inner run where it was crazy muddy this spring.

Well then Ducks should be reconsidered as far as keeping.They definitely require room to forage..

My ducks are free range -during the day that is. They spend most of their time in the pool They L O V E getting treats (I.e. salad and mealworms).

I just looked for that same phone, It's actually been recalled! I'm pretty sure they didn't recall it for ducks though. Looks like C&B will have to upgrade to an iPhone!

That phone survived all these years with the kids so I'm pretty sure they're duck proof . Now my son did find a pretty awesome duck toy at WalMart the other day and Chuck and Buck HATE it! It quacks!
