Duck waddle?

My Ancona hen has a 2-3 inch waddle type growth hanging down from her neck. It is totally feathered and doesn't seem to bother her at all. She appears healthy and happy. Eating, drinking, swimming and laying normally. I'll try to post a picture of her soon. I have had many duck over many years and have never seen anything like it.
Has anyone else?
Any ideas what it is?

Could be a benign tumor. Let's hope it's benign.

I think you're right. Most of it is feathers so I'm not going to worry about it.
