Duck with Bumblefoot (Warning Viewer Discretion Is Advised)

Yeah, me too. And your little girl too. Don't forget to ask the vet lots of questions. They're getting paid, so shake all the info out of 'em! :)

Thanks. Yeah I'll make sure to ask all sorts of questions. It's $75 just to take her and then whatever they have to do.

Oh, yikes. Is that the exam fee? I think it was $50 for Igor and Flapper. It was $93 altogether for Flapper, and that included pain meds, and the tube for feeding. $15 of it was just them showing us how to tube feed. But it could be different for you if she has something other than a soft tissue injury. :)

Yeah that's just the exam fee. My dad is thinking she probably has an infection, because of the fact that her leg is hot but I think you're right and it's a tissue injury.

Ok. I think if it was an infection, you would see swelling or scabs. I've noticed that my Pekins' feet are normally hotter than my Welshies' normally. Pekins are just so big. Is one foot hotter than the other, or are they both hot? Flapper's foot was a little warmer in the beginning, but that went away. I do think it's a good idea to go to the vet though since you haven't experienced this before. I like to go to learn.

It could possibly be a brake, or fracture. Hopefully it's only a tissue injury. :fl Make sure to ask how you could tell the difference. ;)

I just got back she's pretty sure it's just a tissue injury we'll figure it out tomorrow for sure.
Also if it were a brake you'd be able to feel it as apposed to a tissue injury.

Did she tell you to keep her off her feet until it heals? I'm going to do that with my big guy. I finally named them! Don't you think Duke and Duchess is cute?

Yeah. It was funny when she said it seems like a soft tissue injury the first thing that came to mind was way to go Destiny!
No she said she should be fine. Plus she doesn't do much anyways. Duke and Duchess! That is extremely cute!
