Duck with Swollen Ankle

I only mentioned because you seemed to imply she was a meat bird and her weight was the issue. She has been limping for quite a while now; if i were to guess at least 3 weeks to a month, which is why I also mentioned she was limping but seems to have gotten worse. Do you have any tips for reducing the inflammation?
All ducks can suffer from joint issues. A crate to keep her quiet might help? How old is she and what feed do you feed?

Yes I am aware of this... I was looking for treatment options. She's sitting in their run right now (the rest of the flock free ranges - which I'd assume is also why they get into so many thorns). She is 2.5 years old and gets non-gmo layer pellets. I give them brewer's yeast for niacin and eggshell for calcium.

A Vet really is the best for this type of situation to be honest.

I get that - but it's really not an option right now.

Well sorry that's all I can suggest...
Treatment options for what? You don't know what's wrong and we can't see the Duck? Provide more information please.

One thing you can do is limit her mobility for a while. soak her leg in warm Epsom salt water and give her water therapy and rest. Leg foot injuries take a while to heal hopefully it's just a sprain.
