duck

I'm so sorry this is happening. I don't have much experience with this beyond my ow experience with my duck growing up. The duck lived quite a long time with the condition. It might help if you could try to get a video to share with us, but if the problem is a neurological one, I'm not sure how much we can do. If it were us, we'd probably take him to our vet, but we have a really wonderful, knowledgeable avian vet. Maybe @Isaac 0 will have additional thoughts. Either way, please keep us posted, and don't hesitate to reach out even if you just want to talk. I think most of know how helpless it can feel when one of our ducks appears unwell. We're rooting for him and you!

hey i’m wondering if anyone ever experienced what i just have. One of my 11 months old duck was just drying himself up after a bath and out of no where he flipped himself over and flapped his wings like crazy. I picked him up and his eyes were wide open and breathing heavy like if he was panicking. I just held him for at least a min to calm him down. I checked his surroundings to make sure if there was something there that could’ve scared him but nothing. He’s doing fine now as if nothing occurred. Just trying to see if anyone had any idea what happened ?
I hope your duck is okay. Is there maybe a dog or cat he could have seen? My ducklings would freak out if they saw my cat enter the room

no the only other pets i have are my 3 budgies and my ducks never freaked out seeing them

I'm so sorry, that is very scary. A video would be very helpful, hopefully we can help you find the issue, and he will be alright.
he seems to do fine now, i’m watching him to see if there’s anything different. And yes if it happens again i will try to record so i can send for help. Thank you !

Hello everyone i just wanted to do a quick update from my recent posts, Just wanna thank everyone who took their time to respond to me and help me with my duck’s situation. Currently right now he is doing good, he’s eating right and drinking lots of water and it has not happen at all since yesterday. I will keep a close eye on him for a week just to make sure i’m not missing something, and if otherwise i see any signs i will take him to our vet. Thank you all !
