Duckling angel wing?

So far I’ve wrapped 7 of the ducklings on one or both of their wings

The wing needs to lay flat against the body in normal position. Hard to tell by pictures but it doesn’t look like they are. Bless your heart that’s alot of wrapping.

Wow, that is a lot of wrapping, good job! Did you do the wrap like this video shows?

Yes, as far as I can tell I’ve done them like the video, but their still sliding off their elbows, even with the tape. I lost 7 of the 9 wraps over night, even after I rewrapped several of them. Did it say something about putting a sock on them to keep them from picking at them? Can someone tell me more about that? maybe that’ll help.

Looking at the pictures perhaps the purple wrapped ones don’t sit flat I think perhaps the width of the vet tape was to wide and there was to much between the wing and the body of the duckling?

I went to take the last couple wraps off and had to cut the feathers to get the tape off. I’m trying the sock method with some knee highs on three of my ducks tonight. Cross your fingers!
