That's rocky, he was a Silkie from last spring's chick batch. Sadly, my dog got ahold of him and I had him put down... Was a pretty bad wound, and he was aggressive anyway.

Chrissy was SO good with her bandage change this morning. She held still the whole time.

An aggressive Silkie? That seems so funny to me! Sorry it didn't work out. He was THE CUTEST baby. Chrissy's probably figuring out that the bandage changes are helping her. Shes been such a super trooper!

Yeah; whoda thunk, right?
I 'specially chose him coz he was the cutest baby in the whole bin....
She sat on my lap for a bit after, just sorta chillin with her head tucked under my chin.... She's the sweetest thing!

Banti, I missed the post that Chrissy's foot came off. I'm so glad, but what a shocker to stumble on that pix unexpectedly! (I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything or the computer would've had a bath.)
I got a good laugh about your friend

. I bet she thinks you're certifiably crazy!
I am having a "good laugh" over your post.

The metro area
For all practical purposes, the city has a definite boundary defined by a map. It doesn't change unless the city annexes an outlying area. The metro area is what you would see as a single blob if you were flying over in a plane at night. This is typically constantly growing outward. Cities that aren't aggressive about annexing their outliers or places like Boise where Boise,Nampa,Caldwell,Meridian and Star have essentially grown together into a single entity seem deceptively small when you cite only the city population.
Yar. Bend, Over just expanded its UGB a few months ago. AGAIN!!! Projected growth inside 10 years from now is 35-40k more people and 17k dwellings to house the flood. And the intent is for high density. I AM LEAVING…...

…soon as I retire.

our local that did the first surgery just for cost, but the next couple of surgeries were out of price range because the dog would have gone to a specialist. My seven-year-old niece was heartbroken
lol I live in New Hampshire and have to drive a minimum of 45 minutes, if I want good shopping I have to drive 90
That is so heartbreaking. It's like you need to have med insurance for your pet or a HUGE wallet. I do not have the latter.
