I shut down above 70. I get a glazed look and start doing stuff on autopilot. Really bad when I'm cleaning counters. How on earth did a spatula get THERE?

OK, so I don't feel as bad that I've been all zoned out because it was so hot today...I shut down above 70. I get a glazed look and start doing stuff on autopilot. Really bad when I'm cleaning counters. How on earth did a spatula get THERE?
I have never, ever, seen it hit 96° here. Never. Heat index? Yes. Actual temp? Nope.OK, so I don't feel as bad that I've been all zoned out because it was so hot today...![]()
It's still below core body temp. Once it gets ABOVE 98.5F, things get a good deal uglier.I have never, ever, seen it hit 96° here. Never. Heat index? Yes. Actual temp? Nope.
Yech... You all are insane. It's still below core body temp. Once it gets ABOVE 98.5F, things get a good deal uglier. You have to be smart about scheduling breaks so you don't inadvertently spend too much time outside at once.
Um, LOW? As in night time temp??The predicted high temp for Phoenix today is 122. Yes, 3 digits! Their low temp is 90. Can you imagine!? They expect power outages because everyone will be running AC nonstop.
Um, LOW? As in night time temp??
Does AC even help any at 122°F?
Can you go outside in that weather and still breathe?
Wow. Just wow.Yep, 90 for the overnight low. AC does work, but will overload the power grids or whatever it's called. Shockingly, they can still breathe. The airport isn't sure how they're going to stay operational. There aren't precedents for operating aircraft at temps that high. Plus, they don't know how the workers could tolerate working out on the tarmacs.
