Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

A week! Oh no- how could you stand not seeing my burds for a week!?? Poor you!

I'm afraid I can't guarantee that; but I can pretend that nothing will happen if it makes my fellow duckburd addict feel better.

Ooohhh!!!! Bring back lots- we shall divide the quacking spoils.

I KNOW! I cant even imagine how much bigger they'll look in a week. Poor Deb... Hers will probably be getting ready for college by the time I get back.

I'm one of those weird people who hates to go on vacation & cant wait to get home. We have 2 week old chicks here that wont even remember who we are in a week.

I'll make sure to post plenty of pics so you can ooh and ahh over them when you get back! And yes, Deb's babies are SOOO big. Big flufflets of adorbs.

I don't like vacation much either, I do have fun but I am constantly worrying about my critters! Did the chickens get closed up properly? Is willow being fed? Are the guinea pigs being cuddled? Is Jace getting her feetsies warmed daily?

Dear Banti,
I have to take my kids out of town for a week. As my former co-ling-napping-conspirator I am BEGGING you to not let anyone post anything cute, funny or even remotely interesting while I'm gone. I cant stand the thought of all the fuzzy, noodling, squeee-ing, treatment, webby cuteness that will be happening without me.

On a side note; I always travel with duct tape, so if there's anybody between San Diego & Phoenix that has any huggable, squeezable little 'lings named George along the way, you'd better look out!

Sincerely,
-Charlene

LOL...have fun & travel safely! Yeah, mine are 7 weeks old today & almost completely feathered. Darn growth happens!

Thanks! I can access the internet with my phone, but am getting old & cant see the fluffy fuzzies as well as I'd like to. I might have to invest in a cheap pair of specs, or one of those magnifying glasses you wear around your neck.

Luckily DH is a great petsitter, but is still not the same. He says the birds wander around looking bored & lonely when we're gone.
