Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

Yes they have- they used to be SO tiny! Wow.... Didn't realize it until they all tried to dog-pile on my lap like they used to do.

You have a really great setup for them too. I wish I could have ducks.

Sorry, Mr. or Mrs. Cow, but I don't care for cow tongues. I like them to keep their tongues to themselves!

I nearly passed out today when one climbed on my lap and ate food from my hand! So soft and round and perfectly Burd.

Awww .... that is so adorable when they do that!

Every once in a while one of mine will like to sit on my lap. But, most of the time, they are thinking, "Food? Food? C'mon, where is it?! You are the one who gives us food, so do your job. I'm hungry!"

male cows are bulls.

Unless it's a mini cow in that case males look like females. A friend a has mini calico boy cow.
I knew that!

I refuse to admit that I'm dumb!

I can tell them apart sometimes, but I'm not a cow expert! Hmm ... that's another animal I need ....

I've never heard of a mini cow, but it sounds like something I need! As you can probably tell, I need to research the subject thoroughly before even thinking about it!

OK, I take back what I said about my ducklings thinking I'm only there for food. I was sitting around with Quackers, when Puddles and Josephine waddled over to see me and started jumping to try to get in my lap. I picked them up and let Quackers go. I have never seen a duck jump before! They didn't even use their wings a like a chicken would have. They were, I guess you could say , hopping. Obviously, they couldn't get very high, but it was so sweet! My ducks actually like me! Well, some of them, at least - as for the others ....

Yezz!!! Mor pics of duckburd!!

Yeah, try again- mine are SO sweet.

x2 try again! If you do, maybe just get three or four this time, so there's less mess and stink! I think it's less aggravating that way; I know I should have gone with a lower # at first instead of being greedy and getting 6! I don't regret it, though! I can't imagine living with even one of them missing!
Welshies are awesome, just so ya know if you say yes to mor burds!

Thanks for the encouragement, guys!

My second batch of webbyburds was only 3, and they really imprinted strongly on me.....until the older 6 corrupted them.
