Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

Of course ya can't get mad at a the lil' Berdz. I couldn't, no matter what mine did. If I did, they would tell me by way of those looks that my burd-itude needs to change.

It was hot here, too, like 90 degrees or something like that. Way too hot to be outside, unless you are drenched in cold water. I didn't think of ice water, so I herded mine all over to the hose and sprayed them. It was so much fun!
Don't worry, it's okay to be burdcrazy. Quite normal, in fact, if you love love love them ducks

NO KIDDING. That is what is so amazing about burds. They look at you with their sideways eye glance and it is all over. They are perfect beings all around and always funny with their burd antics.

Loving ducks is the easiest thing in the world. The roundness of their burd bods. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Nobody could ever get mad at Berd!

It was hot here today, so they got filtered ice water. Why no, I am not BurdCrazy, why 'dya ask?

Never ever ever get mad at Berd. Always wanna kiss and hold said Berds. I love that you gave your burds filtered ice water on that hot day. They deserve.

Awe, so cute.  You're getting a "welshie girl baby" next year.  Love that!

:D hoping a welsh! But I also like hook bills... And BEI ;) either way, Maya Papaya!
The calls are going to be Butterball and Bean! I'm probably going to get them In October as adults, because calls are fragile.

Come on people.... Ducks with hats, ducks with hairdo's, pink ducks, bunnies, cavies, cows, keets.... Could you have possibly crammed any more cute, interesting, adorableness into the two weeks I was gone??? That's just being cruel to disadvantaged potential ducknappers!

We somehow managed to find 'room on the broom' for a damaged, blind & nearly feral cavy that we commandeered from a totally exposed cage in my neighbors driveway. I'm SUPPOSED to be scouring the cavy threads & taking a crash course in Cavies 101, but I had to stop in here first to see what I'd missed... Please re-read 1st paragraph for proper guilt & scolding.

Aww, Butterball and Bean! That's cute. October isn't as long to wait, but it's hard to wait any amount of time for ducks!

I'm getting WH ducklings next year and I might go crazy waiting if I weren't hatching chicks. That should keep me content for a little while.

I've never heard of a cavy, but it sounds cool. What exactly is it?
