The BURDling actually hatched yesterday while I was cleaning the coop.Nail polish duck made it! Provided it turns out to be a female, I'm calling "her" Crystalline after the name on the polish bottle.

If ever I was disappointed with my ducks, it's when I've just filled up their pool with fresh, clean water that doesn't look like chocolate milk and they jump in and suddenly have to go to the bathroom. And then they need a drink.I need a filter for my pool!

My nephew has ducks. They also have an above ground pool that they let the ducks swim in (I am NOT getting in THAT POOL!). Anyway, they say if you put them in a little kiddie pool BEFORE you put them into the big pool that they don't poop in the water of the big pool. I'll believe THAT when I see it! LOLLOL!
