nope

Tie the sling up higher and let it droop lower. Maybe even tie it from above her?

Also... and I'm not being critical, I'm seriously asking for future reference for myself... do you think the popsicle stick was necessary? I was thinking the vet wrap may hold it well enough without the stick. But I really don't know.

I have no idea. Might be it ain't needed, not even sure it's in the right place to be doing anything.

If she were mine I would immobilize the fracture by taping her leg to her body like the way the splinting manual suggests for femur fractures.

I think the key in treating fractures is to immobilize the joints above and below the break.

I need to look at the manual again, and maybe some other pictures, but what I was think was to tape it when folded forward, like the position when they are sitting.

I'm going to leave her alone for a bit, on her favourite pillow with food and water close to try and keep her from moving. She's overstressed and any more messing with bandages is going to worsen it.

She keeps it folded back when sitting. I'll try and find where I have the manual and then fix it when she's calm again.
