My kids are homeschooled (er... which is what I should be doing right now.) They have to take the entire months of August & September off because it gets unbearably hot here. Like, eat cold cereal for bfast, lunch AND dinner, hot... Like 95* inside your house, hot...

I live in San Diego. We've talked about moving to Phoenix many times. It would be crazy hot there, but at least we'd have AC. My brother lives out that way & they're already up to 118*. I've been stalking the AZ chicken threads trying to figure out how those people keep their birds alive.

Its really hard! September is one of the hottest times of the year here. Every year everybody else is making soup, wearing socks & waiting for the trees to change color, while I'm staving off a nervous breakdown trying to refreeze water bottles every couple hours for all the animals.
