Duckling Diaries: the Life and Times of a Welshie Trio

Hypowhatia? That's a disease southern people get when they see a snowflake.

They didn't stay out too long, don't worry. We all went swimming in icy water when we were rugrats... We survived, so the next generation will too, eh?
Lmao! Where we went canoeing last weekend was spring water. It was so hot outside you wanted to get in the water so bad but then when you did it was so friggin cold you'd start shivering! I thought about you! Lol.

Wussies. What was water temp, all the way down to 68* or something? :lau

Look at this guys automatic watering system. . I think this would be great for your chooks but not sure what the point is for ducks. Don't know about ya all but my ducks don't know the difference between swimming water and drinking water. . .

I do however really like this idea. . I don't usually put my feed in water. . should I be? I just make sure they have water available to drink.

That would freeze and explode before the end of December. Would be nice, though, if I could keep it from shattering.

I like my rubber trugs the best, they rarely crack and they're easy to clean... I built a neat cover that keeps the ducks from making a mess of it in winter. They can still clean their faces but they can't swim in it.

ETA: Rubber bowls, not trugs. I need more sleep.

Nah, dry is fine. It works best for me and my critters, the wet stuff gets muck in it...

Can you post a pic of your bowl when you get a chance?
