Duckling distressed keeps stretching legs forward

Help!!! Please! I can't find anything!! My duckling of 5 days couldn't walk today and so I gave a niacin supplement and now tonight he is walking on this "knees" and stretching legs forward and almost looks like he's having fits because his legs just go forward and all over the place!!! Please help'!!

Post on the duck thread where others may help. Are you giving a multivitamin that also contains riboflavin? If it is not a vitamin deficiency, it may be a neurological problem of some sort. I know very little about ducks, but Amiga and many others should be of help.

I have a special avian supplement with riboflavin and niacin and other good things that I have started to give him in his water. The correct amount and everything so let's hope this helps thank you for the reply.

I know ducklings can suffer from niacin deficiencies which cause leg/walking problems. The duck folks could probably tell you how much & what to use.
