Duckling flipping over

he is now inside out idk what from but another wise he is ok.

What do you mean "inside out"? I can't imagine any chick or duckling being described as inside out and being okay.

he has an inside out vent'' problem now I have no idea how he got it. do you know how I can treat him? with that, I have never treated that before.

Can you post pictures? The traditional thing to do would be to wash the vent area very gently with warm sterile water, then coat it with petroleum jelly and push it gently back into place, then monitor and keep the bird isolated and still so that it takes - may have to be done more than once. Some people recommend Preparation H but I personally don't know enough about that to risk it, and I've heard mixed things about it. I'm worried about this duckling having a vent prolapse on top of its other issues though.

I can't take pics with my camera has a lagging shutter. but I can describe it. the abscess. It is round has a brown scab. And is in the middle of his spine kinda like spina bifida. He can move his legs but not walk at all. The 'inside out'' is bright red and he did not have it yesterday.

He is also eating and drinking and is very active. He dose not seem to be in any pain.

I'm concerned he has an abscess directly where his spine would be, as it could be causing neurological issues that are leading to the flipping over if he has some kind of spinal damage/infection. Plus an infection that spreads to the spinal cord will probably kill quickly.

He is not flipping over anymore now he is just walking strangely.
