Hello, I am a new duckling owner and I currently own 2 pekins. Recently my smaller Pekin duckling has been having seizure-like episodes where it will fall on its back and begin twitching, when trying to put it back upright it appears completely limp (dead-weight) though it’s eyes remain open. After placing the duckling upright it continues to stay dead weight until slowly returning back to normal. Next thing I know a minute later the duckling is back to acting normal.
This occurs usually once a day, though their have been days without it and days where it has happened twice. I can’t take them to a vet currently and I have tried everything including changing their food to a feed including niacin, to adding brewers yeast in their previous feed. I include 3-in1 mix for their water as well and their heat levels are right. I really am puzzled. Does anybody else have any experience or advice?
