I'm posting this here too because I need some help.

Avery my 14-day old duckling was hurt this morning by my brother's kids. The short story is that I wasn't with them when it happened, the oldest said he jumped out of the youngest's hand. I think he has a broken leg but also a busted crop. His crop is staying flat, he's puking up all his food and water. When he eats it stays in his throat making it look swollen and doesn't move to his crop. Any pressure by me or even himself, since he's having a hard time walking, will cause him to puke up his food. He has a blue tent to his bill and I'm so worried about him.

He's not doing well. Please, any advice will be wonderful.

Edit: he's also pooping runny solid white.

Can you post pictures and video?

Are you sure there is a problem with his crop?

Clearly he is having trouble walking, but I'm not convinced he has a broken leg. Can you exam both legs and try to pinpoint where the fracture is?

It's going up the side of his throat and when you open his mouth you can see it bubbled up at the back of his throat. It looks worst when he eats or drinks but the food isn't staying in there very long. He'll eat or drink and within minutes he's puking it back up. I don't have much food or water in there with him at the moment. I'm hoping the lesser amounts will help him not to throw it back up.

As for his leg, there's a place in the middle on the left side that feels knotted up and it's a bit swollen. He was walking fine before the fall and now he's doing like in the vid.

Can you have someone hold him while you take pictures?

Here are pics. I don't know if you can see it that great but the side is full to his jaw and the crop is flat. All others have fat full crops and nothing up the side of their throats.
