Duckling leg issues

For 12-24 hours I used bandaid method around legs in case duckling had splay leg. For 24 hours I used the sponge around neck method to help him keep his head up and straighten out. At the same time, I made a splint in case he has a slipped tendon along with a small piece of cardboard attached to foot to fix curl toe. I did Physical therapy afterwards by stretching the leg slightly to front and back and allowing him to swim 5-10 mins a day
I increased the niacin with Anthony’s nutritional yeast and increased vitamins with poly vi sol mixed with vitamin E 2x daily. I put hydro hen 3-1 into ducklings water. I say all of this for the person who is at a loss like I was. I didn’t know if it was wry neck, slipped tendon, and/or splay leg causing my duckling to not walk.
After a few days, my Moses is walking, sitting straight up and acting completely normal (slight limp)

I had to try every method to figure out what was wrong. I don’t know which one did the trick or if it was a combo but hope it helps the next person.

Moses is adorable, and congrats on getting him to where he is today. Hopefully, you'll keep at least the Nutritional yeast sprinkled over his feed until at least 10-12 weeks old and maybe forever it's so good for them. 2Tab per cup of feed.

What did he do to his little bill? and you need to get rid of the chicken waterer and make him something like this. He needs to be able to dunk his head to keep his eyes and nares clean

Thank you! I do give him a bit bigger bowl of water when I’m watching him but keep the chicken one always. I can change that though.

I believe the reason he has a hard time hatching was because of his bill. It’s a bit deformed and there’s a scab. He was born like that. I plan on maybe applying antibacterial ointment but haven’t researched it enough just yet.
