I have a 4-5 week old pekin duckling that I got from TSC a few weeks ago, along with 3 other surprise breeds. They have all been healthy and doing great, 2 of them started making small quacks a couple days ago. I have raised rouns and muscovey ducklings for a couple years and am always excited to hear their first quacks.
My little pekin started making this weird cooing noise, not quite a honk or a quack, it's hard to explain. It sounds soothing, like it is happy and has been doing it after eating when it goes to lay down. Should I be worried something is wrong or is this a normal sound?
