Don't try to feed or water it until if find its feet and is hopping around..I wet the feed to a soupy mix so they get hydrated plus fed..I also have dry out too plus water..

Now on to figuring out how to stop my first duckling from pecking at the new one I just put in the brooder. . Steep learning curve.

That's normal...They noodle each other to bond...

I also hang a mirror for Ducklings...They love seeing more Ducklings and cuddle to the mirror...

Wow, amazing story! I'm so glad it made it! I hatched for the first time last Fall, and I still remember Sunny hatching in my hands. She was a malposition and assisted hatch. I named her sunny cuz she was sunny side up.

I named mine Goodness Gracious, Grace for short, because that’s how I felt hatching it. So beautiful!
