Duckling pipping wrong end 30+ hours

I'd take it off too and just keep the incubator's humidity at hatching levels. If it were me, I'd use water to moisten, check the humidity gauge, and go to bed and probably check via a window plenty during the night.

Thanks. The bill hasn’t broken through, but yes, I can see it’s placement within the egg and hear it quack. Fingers crossed. Hoping to meet this little guy.

Fingers crossed for the little fella. :fl
Do you have other eggs in there with it? Just curious of their progress. And what breed are these?

Thanks. I do. They are Ancona Duck eggs. I had one hatch early on day 25 and one hatch today on day 26. The one that’s pipping on the wrong end started two nights ago, but didn’t create a hole until yesterday morning. So I’m both eager to help, but want to wait because it’s still early. I wish I knew more of what to look for. Thanks for the help and hope the duckling gains strength and gets itself out tonight. There are eight other eggs in the incubator, but not sure if all have made it. I have tossed out three of them.

There’s been some movement. Should I be concerned about the brown membrane or duck’s position? Thank you!
