Here are her most recent poops. How’s it looking? Any concerns?

It doesn’t look worrying to me but I am no expert on poop. Is she eating good?
Oh, thank goodness. Yes, she’s been eating pretty well! We were able to switch out her old food for proper duckling crumbles earlier this morning, so she’s been eating and drinking off and on all day. She seems to be really energetic, she’s been playing in her water, chasing our hands around the brooder- and hopping up to see us when we’re around her. I’ll be weighing her later tonight. I’ll definitely tag the people who have been keeping an eye on her poops as well so they can have a look as well! Thanks so much for caring about our little one!

Just weighed the little sweet heart! She weighs 28.5 grams as of right now! Yesterday around this time, she weighed 24.9 grams. I’m so proud of her! She stands on the scale all by herself, too!

Just to check in as well, here’s a new poop!

Here’s an update! Haven’t weighed her yet tonight- but I’ll tag you when I do! She’s been really fussy today. She’s been hopping up and down in her brooder constantly, and when we pick her up, she’s extremely hard to handle. When we leave the room, she peeps for a bit- which is okay, but I’m worried about sleeping tonight, and I don’t want her to get stressed. I filled a clean sock with polyester so she could have something to cuddle- but no luck. She only seems to calm down when we hold her in our hand while it’s inside the brooder. She wore herself out with all the hopping while I was working, and couldn’t hold her constantly. She jumped so much that she started panting- so I gave her some cool water and raised the heat lamp a bit to cool her down. Poor baby... I don’t know what to do.

Also, I’ve been wondering- what should the brooder temperature be during the next few days for her? It’s been between 92~95 the past few days, and higher when we first got her in. When should I start making temperature changes for her? It’s been a while since we’ve last brooded some duckies, and I trust you guys! Also, thank you both so much again for sticking around! I’ll continue to update you!
