Hello,
I rescued a duckling from our pond. It was alone and struggle to swim when I found it. It was on its side with only one leg functioning and its beak barely above water. I've had it for two days now and am feeding it duckling food with added brewers yeast. Unfortunately, it is still unable to walk. It can get up, but then sits back on its tail with its legs forward . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Poor thing. You are doing good! I haven't really focused on his problem much but two of my ducklings had it before. Make sure you have vitamin stuff (like brewers yeast) in the water as it could be a vitamin deficiency. I really can't help more then that but here are people who can.

I hope more will help.
I will pray for your little one. If you are going to keep it you will need another duck.
It looks like a muscovie.
Good luck :fl

Do you have a brooder set up for it? It looks a little spraddle legged. .make sure you have a non slippery surface for it to get traction on.
