Duckling sounds

I'm not sure if this is aggressive behavior or is drake playing with the puppy. It seems strange, because it doesn't seem he bites him hard. He also fail to move away when he should and he just makes himself available to the dog's teeth and claws. I sometimes see that drake is annoyed by the dog, and he tries to get him away from other ducklings, but I'm not sure if it's aggressive behavior or just taunting.

Here they are. They do it more and more often. I'm keeping the dog away, because I can't trust him just yet. It seems he's having a good time and he knows how to play with the duck, but you never know...

He is trying to proclaim himself the dominant animal. Ducks don't play but they do estabolish a pecking order. Your dog is being very good for now, and he may be playing. My Golden finally had enough of the ducks doing that to him and he snapped at them. Now they only do it to his back end as he walks away. You don't want to let the duck to it to you either. I poke mine back (with my fingers) or make him sit on my lap if he does it. He needs to know I am the boss.

So far he's very friendly to me and afraid of anyone else. I will do that if he starts climbing the domination ladder. Thank you.

PS: This dog is not even 6 months old. He loves to chase the ducks which leads to the drake's behavior. The older dog, his mother usually just avoids the ducks because she knows they will get loud and cranky. If they are blocking the way she would like to take, she just goes around when she sees all the duck heads start rising in front of her. Puppy is the other story, he is way too playful to miss the opportunity to chase them and he likes to "fight" the drake even more. I'm doing my best to make him stop that.
