I absolutely have the room for a run for them. We have an issue with cottonwood snowing at the moment, and little basil had to have it removed from her crop, so the vet said to keep both indoors until the "snow" is over.

Oh, that certainly sounds reasonable. So you said that the season is over in a week or 2. Hopefully after that things can get back to normal in your ducky world! I've heard songs about cottonwood trees but had no idea they did that and I always thought thought they were just in the south! Learn something new every single day!

Yes, Maam!!!! I posted pictures of the snow mess somewhere above in the thread. It has been miserable for all of us. Unfortunately, I cant eliminate the problem in the future, because the entire area is covered in them.

I was actually stationed in San Antonio for 4 years, and never saw the mess. We move here, and it's like a second winter. Lol

I am in Michigan, but one of my army friends decided to gift my boys with these little gems when she came home. I'm honestly not 100% positive where she got them. I had assumed tractor supply. She said they were 3 days old when she gifted them.

I will ask her when she comes off of assignment again for debriefing. She may have also got them from her Mum's property in Tennessee. She did go there before venturing north to see us, then back to post.
