Duckling Thread!

Bought the birdies a bath Tuesday. Final design still underway. I'll probably leave this in the middle of the garden bed til my plants are big enough to go in the ground and then flood the garden with the pool before removing. Then move the pool to their run and its final resting place. I hope it holds up over the summer! It seemed like the most cost effective solution for what I wanted and they needed. CLEAN DUCKS yeah!

Not sure if you can see the green coming in on our cayugas as they get their big boy/ girl feathers. They don’t like to cooperate when I’m making my after work feed rounds. Now that they are getting bigger I’m looking to move them to a larger pen where they have green grass and lots of room to run. Maybe this weekend. I just want to make sure they are big enough for the guineas to leave them alone, the bullies.:fl

Oh my gosh what a nice pool, where did you find it?

Thank you! Walmart for $19.88 I believe. This is the product I bought I believe but it is priced higher online. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Play-Day...Family-Swimming-Pool-Blue-and-White/358854906

The little kiddie pools were about $10, and a stock tank was about $60 and was really too deep, so this seemed like a decent way to start.

I am hoping to locate some kind of thick rubberized paint to coat the bottom and exterior to prolong its life. This has 2 air chambers so if there is a leak, hopefully I'll be able to identify it easily. There is also a drain plug in the bottom. I bought cinder blocks and plan to make some sort of base to raise it up so I can gravity drain it to a hose and into my garden.
