Duckling Thread!

Pics
I have duck eggs in my incubator (shhhh don’t judge me ;)), how many of you actually cool your eggs? Or spray them with warm water? I’m considering not doing either... but I want to hear from you guys first.
I tried cooling my eggs once. Twas very successful, but the eggs also hatched a day late, much to my panic, lol.
I sprinkle mine with water. Helps the humidity too.

Oh, and if you're cooling, I'd recommend using the cooling cycle function on your incubator if it has one.
If you open the incubator, humidity and heat leak out much faster. Also you could forget about the eggs.
I used my Brinsea when experimenting with cooling, but I think the Incuview might have one too. I love digital incubators.

Update on the broody duck.
She started sitting again a few days ago, now she has 11 eggs all well and growing!
