Duckling Thread!

Would they get upset of I switched eggs from ones nest to another, just to make sure they have atleast two babies each?

They dont care for the most part. They cant recognize their eggs from anothers eggs after all.

Me I do I do..three WK old khaki cambell a and they live in North woods Maine and are the very first living part of our newly started farm last yr now we have living creatures instead of Maine greens but I grow flowers and veggies too but my girls have it made.. We are set back on a five Acre lot can't see Rd they have enclosed pond and igloo doghouse with a100 watt light dropped thru the perfect design in this house n my ducklings not so little anymore but would still rather play in puddle in front of their house but have swam a few times on their own...my cat is my livestock guard apparently cuz kept 12 chicks 1 day old (2wks now) and 2 khakis ducklings in my living room until today Cuz ran outta rm and that cat is red squirrel Master killer and he is with me every time I go do chores he's right with me watching over his new family members.. Didn't stalk, stare just interested in being the guard...had to get all 14 birds out today was starting to be problems at least with my chicken chicks too crowded n my ducks love their new place..took five diff times before they'd leave the fence edge looking for me but don't want me to catch them they just wanted me near so first two days I sat out with them then the other days they just started doing their thing and had a long day today they are ktfo...
