Duckling Thread!

I look at it like this so much better than drought! And fires! You have pasture oh would I love to have a bit of flat with grass for my geese. I grow forage in flats and buy alot of Romaine lol
My pastures are on a 30-45 degree incline. I need to clear more but I'm old and really don't know what I'm doing. I'd also like to harvest a few trees, but again don't have a clue.

We’re all woods on 10.5 acres with only a little over half acre fenced in. I know what you mean we do get firewood from the trees that are dying or have up rooted but we could stand to have a thinning, have no idea what our property incline is but my husband calls it billy goat land.

Sounds like my terrain. My street is 300' above sea level, at the top of my mountain it's 1019' and the back side goes to sea level where it meets the Cumberland river.

Sure sounds similar. I love living here just wish it was feasible to fence it all in but then I wouldn’t be able to keep a close watch over everyone. We have the Cane river down below us. Couldn’t ask for a nicer place to live and my birds don’t seem to mind they have to walk up an down hills keep them in good shape I guess!

Well im happy to say i can tell now that i have a male and female.
Im wondering...... will my ducks fly away??? A friend asked me and as soon as i said no 2 wild ducks flew over. Lol
