Hello! I got a treat called BabyCake by Farmers’ Helper from a local feed store going out of business a month ago along with other items to prepare for my ducks. I didn’t read up about the product and I was wondering could my ducklings have it? It’s designed for chicks but the lady at the store said she uses it for ducks too. It’s basically a suet-y roll on a thick plastic stick. Farmers’ Helper makes a multitude of products including the Flock Block so I assume they are somewhat well known? The package says can be fed through first 8 weeks of chicks life, this would propally be shorter for a duck as they mature quicker, but would it even be suitable? Your supposed to leave it out for a small bit and gradually increase the time as they get older. Is this a good product? What about for ducklings? If so, when should I start giving it to them( they are currently 4 days old btw)? Thanks!
