Duckling with deformed leg!!

I have a duckling with a deformed leg. It is curled inward & it walks on its ankle. I have supplemented the water w/ niacin & made a "shoe" bc it was walking on the top of its foot! The shoe helped, but it is still walking on its ankle. Any suggestions?

I have a pekin who's foot is bent in words but is able to walk around he is a bit slower than his siblings and the smallest of the bunch but he is a fighter I have not done anything for him as he is on the foot "flat" while he walks.
Could you post a image so we can see how bad it is.

This shows the "shoe", but it still hobbles on its ankle .

I have never done a shoe but I got to thinking would it be possible to make the shoe like a "Hi top" you know something to brace the ankle in to aliment with the foot.
I don't know if this is very helpful but it is a thought.

That's a thought. I can try to run the tape up higher . It will be hard though bc the ankle lays flat. Thanks for the suggestion !
