Poor thing. I would be sure to get some good stock if you intend to breed some more. Starting with ruined birds just isn't the way to go.

There definitely could be a genetic component to it. Best thing you can do for now is to continue with the vitamins and hope that you see improvement. Wry neck can be very slow to correct, and the vitamins won't hurt anything.

Wry neck duckling is doing better she or he is holding its head up now, we are continuing the vitamins via nurtri-drench once a day and it is improving.
