Duckling with splayed/spraddle leg!

My 2.5 week old duckling just recovered from a bacterial infection and 2 days later, his right leg started stretching outwards and he only walked in one leg! On the third day of this, I realized it was pribably splayed leg and put on splint on it to tie his legs together. He hates it, he never walks around or tries to, just always trying to shake it off. He eats and drinks occasionally, not nearly as much as normal although I feed him with a spoon. Does anyone know how long it will take for him to hopefully get better? And is it normal that he isn’t trying to walk at all? The videos I’ve seen online show ducklings and chicks getting used to the splint ASAP and walking around!

I think you already asked the same question here. have you tried the suggestions? Make sure your duckling gets Enough vitamin B as a shortage can give leg problems.
