They sound like they need to be in a bigger Brooder with ample room to run around. It won't happen overnight. Swimming is also great to build up the leg muscles.I'm not sure what do do about the exercise part either, as when I take them all outside, they take a few steps and then just plop down again.
I've got them in a dog swimming pool. It's pretty big and has room for them to walk around. I did, admittedly, have them in one of those large plastic totes for the first week, and it was really cramped. They sound like they need to be in a bigger Brooder with ample room to run around. It's funny, most homeowners hate dandelion, but I love it and want it on my property, but there's none to be found! It's such a nutritional powerhouse. Also dandelion and chickweed are excellent natural forms of Niacin as are Peas..
Try getting out more to run around..I'm thinking that will help.I've got them in a dog swimming pool. It's pretty big and has room for them to walk around. I did, admittedly, have them in one of those large plastic totes for the first week, and it was really cramped.
I definitely like them for my Birds. My flowerbeds are full of chickweed too..I used to pull it out. Now's its wonderful..It's funny, most homeowners hate dandelion, but I love it and want it on my property, but there's none to be found! It's such a nutritional powerhouse.
I'll see about the peas.
I don't see any chickweed either! Wish I did. I never thought I'd say this, but now I regret covering every bit of dirt with mulch to smother the weeds!I definitely like them for my Birds. My flowerbeds are full of chickweed too..I used to pull it out. Now's its wonderful..
