Ducklings have white worms in poop

Recently got two ducklings from rural king, both have been living in kiddie pool in my house. Went outside to clean it out and put new shavings in and I noticed little worms crawling around . What can I do to treat them? Also I would like to treat my 5 adult ducks and two geese just in case. Can I spray the yard with anything? I’m not opposed to taking him to the vet but just called and so far just walk in the door and get a stool sample is 150 per duckling. Just trying to see what I can do myself before I take them in. Thanks!

I knew I should have taken a pic before I cleaned it! Let me see if I can find them. It’s the kind that looks like white rice. I’ll find a reference for now. Thanks!

It sounds possibly like tapeworm segments if the droppings are fresh. They are short, flat, and usually moving around in the droppings. A wormer containing praziquantel would be best to treat tapeworms. You can check in your feedstore in the horse wormers. But I would take a good picture, and try to be certain that it is tapeworms, and not maggots or something else. Here is a good video to show you what tapeworm segments moving look like:

If it looks like little white rice it could be tapeworm segments,take a look at these pictures, did it look like this?

As for treatment, I’ve never dealt with worms before so I’m not sure, hopefully someone with more knowledge can come help you.

Equimax is a good horse wormer containing praziquantel that will treat tapeworms, and dosage is 0.03 ml per pound of weight. How much does the duck weigh? To get rid of tapeworms and reinfection, you will need to remove droppings and any hosts, such as worms, flies, and snails/slugs that eat the tapeworm segments.

How old are the ducklings? It's rare that very young ducklings get tapeworms or any other worms for that matter. Are you sure they arnt small maggots?

We are still waiting for pictures of the poop. The tapeworms are only a guess, but maggots may well be possible. It is hard to even guess without a picture. While we are waiting for a pic, here is one of maggots in a dropping:
