Ducklings ok without food at night?

I've moved the ducklings out during the day and I am keeping them in at night in a dog kennel to keep them safe. Will they be ok w/o food and water from 9pm to 5am?

Mine go through at least TWO full water bowls, and a bowl of food overnight.
A lot of it is on the ground, but they do still eat and drink.

I don't think they'll DIE, but I don't think its a good idea either.

Do you keep a light on at night? How many ducks do you have? I only have 2.

You don't have to give them food at night but I would make sure they have water.

I have 6, they're almost 3 weeks old (I THINK) no heat and no lights. THey sleep in our dinning room, morning they go out to spend the day in a small fenced area.

I let them out today and they free-ranged with the chickens for about 3 hours!
(during that time they didn' thave their food bowl, and when I brought them in it was like they hadn't eaten in WEEKS - messy faces and all)
