Ducklings on the way!!

If you can give her a little sugar water. Maybe an 1/8 of a teaspoon in a cup. I’ve never used sugar but I’ve seen many on here rec. I use Nutri drench or poultry cell. Use warmish water for all of them sometimes cold can Send them into shock

I put a small bowl of sugar water in there with them, she seems to like it but I usually have to bring her to the bowl since she just sleeps most of the time. I think shes just pretty weak and tired from everything that happened.
All the water is room temperature.

I’ve been looking all over the internet for sugar to water ratio and can’t find anything. I’m going to tag @WVduckchick since she has Calls.
@shawluvsbirds have either of you had a weak duckling after hatch? can you help with letting @quackquack know what you did.

The pictures aren't the best but I still think they are incredibly cute!
I was worried about not being able to tell them apart since the only two obvious ones are Puma (as shes the darkest) and Pika (shes the smallest and her eyes are also very tiny so it's easy to know its her) but it's quite easy telling the others apart too!

They are so adorable and great pictures too. When Pika is ready to eat make her a scrambled egg chopped it up very tiny and see if you can get her to eat some. The others will most likely eat what she doesn't. When I lost 2 of my Runner ducklings from shipping stress I started the 2 left on scrambles eggs every morning and boy they gobbled it up and I am sure that brought them through the worst. you'll need to sprinkle some chick crit either in a small bowl or on a napkin Don't put it on their feed they my eat too much but if you put it in something close to their feed they will use it as needed. it's instinct

I only use NutriDrench, never tried the sugar water, so sorry I can’t help there.

Occasionally they just fail to thrive. I have a hen that hatched 5 about a week ago, and I found one dead this afternoon. The vent looked a little clumpy, it may have been having trouble pooping, so keep an eye on Pika’s vent. White discharge usually means dehydration. You can also try putting her in a small bowl of warm water. Shallow enough for her to stand, but deep enough to let her float if she wants. It can be good therapy, and help them get mobile. And cleans the vent. Just about 3-5 minutes is all it takes.
** Just be sure to dry her very well afterward and make sure she doesn’t chill.

Oh, I'll try that!

I know this is out of the blue but it popped in my head and I was wondering if it's a possibility shes blind? She hasn't really reacted to movement and has trouble following her siblings (she doesn't follow them when they run to the water and food bowls, it takes her about a minute to realize and then get up and try to follow)
Or maybe she just has trouble seeing? Her eyes are quite small.

I tried moving my fingers around in front of her face to see if she'd react and it seems like she has.
But she still has such small eyes.
