Ducklings Safe with Rest of Flock?

A mallard hen of mine has just gone broody. I don't have much experience with ducks. My question is whether or not I should isolate the mother and brood from the flock as soon as they hatch. I know that most chicken hens will let a mom and her bitties be, but what about duck hens? Are they more aggressive? Would the ducklings be in danger?

Do you have drakes in the flock right now?

No. They're in a temporary separate pin until the hatch is over.

It varies from individual to individual but I usually keep the females all together with their broods.
