Ducklings week 3.

I have two. And they are like my friends lol ignore the dirty water they kept putting mud in the pool, I cleaned it today to have it dirty in two hours 😂
I found a way to keep the pool much cleaner that is working great for me.

First of all, I put down that landscape cloth/soil erosion stuff that's black and they use it on construction sites.

Then I put landscape timbers, 4 x 4's or anything I had laying around over the edges of the timers.

I had some flatish rocks that I laid down as close as I could to each other.

I filled in the spaces in between the rocks with just 2 bags of river rocks pebbles from Home Depot.

You can still see the bottom in the pool even after about 4-5 days! To drill in the mud they have to go outside the area and they've not done that at all. The only thing that dirties the pool up is their poo and we can't do anything about that.

I've got the pool on top of a pallet. The only thing I had to actually buy was the river rock/pea pebbles which were $4 for a heavy bag. I used 2 bags. Those grey square stones weren't really needed but I put them there anyway.

Okay I’ve been doing the vitamin b and the duck food. Today one of my ducks was in their pool and my neighbors turkey came close to the pen and the duck was freaking out to get out and now one of his/hers legs looks like it could be injured I know they are kind of bow legged which I honestly think is because of how they were taken care of from the start.
