Ducks and chickens?

What would be the purpose? I don’t know if chickens do as well on duck feed as ducks do on chicken feed.

So do you think there would be negative effects on just using chicken feed? I can add oyster shell or mealworms or something of the sorts of ducks need more calcium but I’d think that’d be chickens. If I need to add anything for them that wouldn’t be a problem

Laying birds need more calcium. So giving oyster shell free choice is the solution there. No one will eat it if they don’t need it. Ducks tend to need more niacin, which all flock has in amounts safe for fowl in general. Duck feed is FAR more expensive and difficult to find than all flock or chicken feed.

I honestly have no idea how chickens would do on duck feed. I’ve never heard of anyone doing that.
